Looking to gain that competitive edge? If so then exhaust wrap is for you.
It helps to retain heat in your exhaust system, increasing horsepower and reducing radiant heat damage. Wrapping the exhaust system maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreasing the density, and allowing the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! Greater exhaust scavenging is produced, thus lowering intake temperatures that means more horsepower.
Heatshield Products is the only insulation company to offer two grades of exhaust wrap-standard and premium. Both withstand 1200°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent. Other companies claim 2000°F continuous, they are either lying or have found a way to bend the laws of physics and chemistry.
Exhaust wrap is constructed of a fiberglass material; glass is good for 1000°F continuous but can be helped along to 1200°F continuous with special coatings. Our standard quality wrap has a "Vermiculite" coating and our premium has a "Silvermiculite" coating that allows them to take 1200°F continuous. Exhaust wrap may be fastened with Thermal-Tie™, hose clamps, or wire. |

Red Hot Sleeving |
|
|
The grandfather of high performance insulation.
This old track favorite started it all over 20 years ago. This sleeving has a red-oxide silicone covering so fraying is reduced to a minimum. The silicone covering makes it easier to clean than other types of sleeving. Excellent for brake lines, wires, cables, etc.
Material is noncombustible and resists water, fungus, and petroleum products. While the silicone covering is good for preventing fraying it limits the maximum temperature to 450°F. If you are looking for a higher temperature sleeving try our Thermal Sleeving or our Reflect-A-Sleeve™. |

Reflect-A-Cloth |
|
|
Extreme flexibility makes it ideal for many applications. Use to protect paint from blistering on body panels or to protect floor of passenger compartment from exhaust heat generated through floorboards.
Reflect-A-Cloth™ is very thin, so it won't interfere with carpet installation and is very effective. It works even better if it can be placed underneath vehicle, preventing heat from getting into interior. Place aluminized side towards source of radiant heat to shield heat away. This product withstands 1100°F of radiant heat and up to 500°F of direct heat.
Heatshield Products is the only company to offer two grades of cloth: standard and premium. Apply using high temperature glue or fasten down with screws or rivets. Bulk quantities available. |

Reflect-A-Shield |
|
|
Reflect-A-Shield™ is the highest quality heat shield on the market.
There is not a better way to divert radiant heat away. We could pay Boeing or NASA licensing money to use their names and pass the “savings” on to you to, but we’d rather sell you a better product at a better price. We use a 1/4" thick ceramic inner pad sandwiched between heavy duty foil and bound together with a stainless steel mesh at the edges. By sewing the edges as opposed to simply folding them, we create greater flexibility and a more rugged product.
As with any aluminum insulation product, it is not designed for direct contact with exhaust systems. It is shield, not an insulator. The shield withstands 1000°F continuous radiant heat and 400°F of direct contact. It is intended for wrapping around electrical boxes, air conditioning components, or use as a catalytic converter and muffler shield. Inner pad may be cut and re-wrapped for custom sizes.
All shields may be fastened with Thermal-Tie™, safety wire, screws, or rivets. Custom sizes available. |

Reflect-A-Sleeve |
|
|
Keep your wiring, lines, and cables safe from heat.
This Sleeving is superior to the old silicone covered sleevings in two ways-insulation properties and weight. Silicone covered sleevings are merely radiant heat reducers and have a lower temperature range (only 450°F max), Reflect-A-Sleeve™ acts as a thermal barrier. Instead of reducing the amount of heat going to protected lines and wires, it actually reflects the heat away significantly reducing amount of heat damage.
Weight, there's more. Our 3' length of sleeving weighs as little as 6” of the silicone covered stuff. Even though it is weighs much less, it offers better protection. Available in a solid or hook and loop seam. Reflect-A-Sleeve™ withstands 1100°F continuous of radiant heat and 500°F continuous direct heat. |
